Join our panel and earn cash, not points!
We pay participants money for taking part in research. Amounts typically vary between around £40 to £100 per event, sometimes even more. Payment is made via banktransfer to your bank account. We do not pay via points or rewards that accumulate over time.
By taking part in research you can voice your opinion, can help improve products and services and get paid for your time. We often need participants for (online) focus groups, depth interviews, product testing, user experience testing or other research.
Before we can invite you to research, you need to register: click the sign up button and provide your details such as name, mobile phone number, and your email address you want to be contacted on, and create a password for your iThoughts account. Once done we recommend you complete the basic profile and section A and B to increase the chances of being a match for our projects.
You can leave our panel at any time. If your details change, you can make those changes yourself by logging in and making the changes by clicking the relevant section.
What happens next?
You will receive a welcome email once you have registered, please check you spam/junk folder as sometimes it ends up where it shouldn't!
The reason we ask you to provide us with your details is to make sure we can match you up with the most relevant research studies available at any given time. Our clients are always interested in speaking to members of the public who are happy to share their views and opinions.
Once you have been added to our panel, we will contact you as soon as we have a suitable research project for you to take part in. We will usually contact you either via email or telephone. Before you are invited, you will need to answer a number of screening questions to make sure you are eligible to take part. Once we have established you match the study requirements, we will contact you either via phone or via email. You will be sent clear instructions via email informing you where and when the study will take place and how much and how you will be paid.
Your personal information will never be sold to third parties, nor will you be contacted for any reason by the client of the research study other than in relation to a specific study you have taken part in as a follow-up, and only if you have agreed to be re-contacted!
Please note we cannot guarantee you will be offered research projects. If you do pass the screening criteria, we might not be able to invite you to take part if we have filled the available spaces for that particular study by the time you have completed the screener questionnaire.
By registering as a panel member you agree to provide us with accurate information. You also agree to the following:
-
Answer questions accurately and truthfully and to the best of your ability
When taking part in research studies:

We need to be able to contact you by email, phone, or text (we often send text reminders the day before the research takes place), so will need to have your permission to do so. If you are under 16 we will need parental permission before we can add you to our panel.
Some of the research studies are being video and/or audio recorded, to assist researchers with the study. These video and audio recordings are used solely for market research purposes and will not be shared with any other party without your permission.
All market research studies we offer are governed under the Market Research Society's Code of Conduct which can be found here: MRS Code of Conduct
